About that “Bi-partison support” Friedman noted in today’s column about the maybe-to-be proposed climate bill — Yeah, bi-partisonship is out. Graham is now out. Surprise, surprise.
It frustrates me to no end that this country is completely incapable of even dipping a toe into the water of moving to energy efficiency. It’s such a no-brainer, and as Friedman calls it, “a win, win, win, win, win, win”. He’s right. Economically, environmentally, politically, foreign-policy-wise, and health-wise, we’d all be better off.
